Great curry? Friendly atmosphere? Welcoming staff? A cool place to eat? Yes to all four! It's well known that the Bengal attracts a fiercely loyal crowd built up over a decade in the Midlands. The star dish of the Bengal without doubt - Koorsi Lamb - is astonishing in the complexity and depth of its flavours, and worth pre-booking a week in advance (it has a fourteen hour plus cooking time). Simpler, but almost as intoxicating in their pull on the senses, are the Bengal's particular takes on Balti favourites (each with a Bangladeshi twist) - whilst the set meals and vegetarian options share similar attention to detail and interest. Highly recommended.
