Wonderful, very intimate restaurant with a late night grande jazz club feel and a fabulous menu, the Basement seems to have been a near timeless classic of Leamington's restaurant scene. Live, often keyboard-based, music can be found on certain nights and it's worth asking when you book as the impact of live music makes an already near perfect haunt truly exceptional. Food is a mix of international standards made provocative by a wonderful array of reductions. The fixed price menu is excellent value and always thoughtful and vegetarians will not be disappointed. This is an evening delight - adult, serious and infectiously romantic.
