As the largest employer in the UK's 11th biggest city, Coventry City Council has a vision for Coventry to be a growing, accessible city where people choose to live, work and be educated - and businesses choose to invest.
The Council is playing a key role in a £9.4 billion regeneration programme which is creating a new, bright and exciting future for the city. This has the potential to create more than 70,000 new jobs as the city grows and changes.
The Council is also proud of its partnership with businesses across the city and hopes that over the coming years, new houses, new jobs, new schools and new transport links will bring more people with money to spend on retail, leisure and relaxation.
Coventry City Council spends more than £200 million each year with business and recognises its role in providing efficient and effective services in Coventry and making a positive impact on the regeneration and reputation of the city.
Coventry is about putting people first and the Council wants to ensure that our city is a place which also strives to be cleaner and greener and where standards of education ensure that children and young people can achieve their maximum potential.
