Merchants is fast gaining a cult status as the bar for the connoisseur, which is surprising as the team pride themselves on the laidback informal nature of the bar, true it is a hugely stylish venue. The staff are some of the most knowledgeable in town, but the feeling is of ensuring everyone has a good time.

The bar derives its name from the history of Warwick, and this theme runs through the classy venue with some stunning murals of the local castle.

For those who like their tipple they boast the longest list of wines by the glass in the area. It is as wide ranging as it is extensive with something for every palate. Cocktails are ‘made to measure’ meaning the list is infinite as tenders mix up what customers fancy, rather than what they read in a book.
