Nominated for its "quite excellent food and atmosphere," Kakooti offers a truly inspired Italian experience. Do not expect to be offered 'the more common than it should be' Italian cop out par excellence of pasta, pasta and more pasta with dishes differentiated only by the colour of the sauce and the inevitable vegetarian option. Instead Tuscany is brought to the region across the spectrum of its styles with a particular emphasis on fish and sauces whose intensity can be startling. As a whole the experience adds up to one that is the good, no great, side of unforgettable. Highly recommended.
