Extremely popular Indian restaurant with a divine location in the very heart of Earlsdon, the Bombay Palace is arguably the most popular student venue on the Indian restaurant in the city - high praise from a population that UK-wide consumes more curries than the population of smaller countries. Value, even in this sector, is competitive (which says something) - but it's the combination of brilliant service (friendly banter comes on tap with the popadums) , fabulous dishes (the korma is to die for - and one of the rare recipes that gets the balance between a perfect hint of sweetness and tang on target), a great array dishes all freshly prepared (even if the wait is a little longer) is enough to create a sense that the owners understand curry, have not sold out to the MSG for ease and speed of delivery - and love what they are doing. Absolutely golden.
