There's a little of Stark's designer St Martins Lane about Dogma - but with a warmth that comes from the wonderfully retro neon warmth of the lighting, fabulously debauch leather sofas and designer bistro style seating in both the main restaurant and cafe areas. Add a combination of live performance space, club, acid jazz inspired and focussed music and you get close to understanding the philosophy of "all life in one place." You get only close though because the real twist, the real clincher for arguably the region's finest bar, is the DOGMA people who passionately recommend puddings and cocktails when asked and always seem to be smiling.
